Job # Contact Crew Category Job Description % Done Status/Notes
No Job # Bob Dysert Bob Dysert Diagnostics Work on bimodal output of P1 line BPMs 100% Disconnected the MI RF input to the 74MHz digitizer clock board for the P1 line BPMs. This should eliminate the bi-modal behavior observed on HP706 during stacking. There is a PLL on the 74MHz clock board that will attempt to lock the RF output to an input source, but this PLL was designed to lock to the TeV ramp and could not keep up with the much faster MI ramp.
9100 David Peterson (x3073) Peterson, Dilday Diagnostics Check Sten style AP2 BPM cards for proper insulation along internal mounting rail. 100% Completed
9064 David Peterson (x3073) Peterson, Dilday or Sheahan Diagnostics The A60 exhaust fan flow switch was bouncing to bad status recently. 100% Experts tested the system and could not repeat the problem.

Wisner, Sondgeroth, Bair Diagnostics SEM706 has no beam profile. We suspect the SEM preamp may have been damaged by radiation, and they will need to be replaced. These two preamps were last replaced in Nov 2004. 100% Replaced PreAmps and 6 to 12V converter boxes for SEM704 and SEM706
9113 Mark Obrycki (x4836) Obrycki Federwitz ES&H Add Pre Target ESS permit to Lithium Lens permit 80% Done.   It is now tied into the safety systems for the Pbar Vault, Pre-vault, and Pre-Target enclosures. A separate ESS test will need to be done for each enclosure
9027 Randy Zifko (x4450) Interlock Group ES&H The light beam at Intlk #1 seems to be broke or out of alignment. This is not a problem now, but it will be if the interlocks are broken at any time. If not before we will fix this at the shutdown. 100% Done 10/6/08
8995 Randy Zifko (x4450) Safety Techs ES&H Test the ACC/DEB Rad Monitors 100% Done 10/7/08

8683 Chuck Worel (x4836) Interlock Group Techincians ES&H Check ground fault voltage circuit of the Pre-Vault Safety System. This may drop the secure of the enclosure depending upon what we find. 100% 10/7/08:  Ground fault found.  Board that went bad.
9124 Randy Zifko (x4450) Safety Techs ES&H Change the ACC and DEB safety system coasting Beam controllers to make testing in the future easier. It will have to be retested which we'll do tonight around 2100 hrs. 100% Thursday evening
8813 Henry Gusler (x4436) Gusler and Crabtree/ Budlong Kickers Bake out A20 kicker tank and shutters to improve the voltage level on the kicker module #1. This job will NOT be done if job #8730 (Hi-pot tank) is done, since the two jobs are not compatible. 0% Not being done.
8730 David Peterson (x3073) Peterson, Obie, Wisner and maybe kicker experts Kickers Look at voltage on each end of kicker during pulse. Also do low energy hi-pots to determine breakdown threshold and polarity dependence. This job will NOT be done if job #8813 (bake out A20 kicker tank) is done. 0% Can not be done.  The voltage to ground of the kicker is a couple hundred kilo-ohms.  This is design.  Three is not a DC hipotter available that can supply the necessary voltage.
8528 Bernard Wisner (x4769) B. Wisner, C. Bair, Obie Kickers The electrolytic capacitors in the Spellman high voltage power supplies need to be replaced, in A:IKIK, A:EKIK, D:IKIK and D:EKIK.
