Starting
- The tune measurement system is started with C42. There
can only be one copy of C42 running at any time. On startup, the message
must be "Connecting to VXI Slot 0 controller. Connection OK" otherwise,
you may need to reboot the VXI Slot 0 controller at E0.

Autozero and Kicker Poweramps
- On startup, the autozero and poweramps are always
*off*. Goto Windows->Autozero Control to bring up the Autozero
Control page. Click on the buttons to turn them on. Note that the tune
system will not work if the autozero boxes are off. When C42 is exited,
they are automatically turned off again. If C42 crashes goto T9 ->
dampers page 2 and turn them off manually. T:MOTOR3->0,
T:MOTOR23->0 and T:VTICK and T:HTICK to off.

Move overall Trigger timing
- To move the overall trigger timing goto
Configuration->Startup ...
- The overall triggers for p's are moved by setting
"measured p bunch offset". The pll trigger is moved by setting "measured
pbar bunch offset" at this time. Click "OK" to send the new offsets to
the VXI crate. These settings are automatically saved when C42 exits or
the user can force a save using Configuration->Save.

Reboot VXI controller
- Goto EO. The VXI crate is in the crate labelled "???".
Wake up the Mac on the left of the crate. Hit the reset and abort
buttons until the Mac shows that the VXI crate is rebooting. After
reboot is done, i.e. when "->" prompt is shown, make sure that the
LEDs on the Slot 0 controller are lit exactly as shown. If not, hit the
RST button on the DSP card until the leds are lit as shown. Start the
VxWorks application by typing "sp Server" on the Mac.
